Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais is a British actor, comedian, author, director, producer, screenwriter and musician. Born in 1961, he initially worked in the music industry, Gervais also managed the then-unknown band Suede. He is well known for co-creating, co-writing and acting in the British television sitcoms The Office, Extras, An Idiot Abroad, Life's Too Short and Derek and After Life. Since then, he has won countless awards, including seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also been listed in The Observer as one of the funniest performers in British comedy and was included in Time's 100 Most Influential People list. Gervais has been in a relationship with comedian Jane Fallon since 1982, and the couple currently resides in Hampstead. His net worth is estimated to be around $ 170 million.
