Katey Sagal

Katey Sagal is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who has achieved tremendous success in the entertainment industry. She was born on January 19th, 1954 and has a net worth of $40 million. Sagal started her career in the show business as a backing vocalist for various singers including Bob Dylan, Etta James, and Tanya Tucker. She was also a member of Bette Midler's backup group The Harlettes from 1978 to 1983. Sagal gained worldwide fame for her role as Peggy Bundy on the sitcom ‘Married... with Children’. She went on to star in the series ‘8 Simple Rules’ as Cate Hennessy, then ‘Futurama’ as Leela, and later in the FX series ‘Sons of Anarchy’ as Gemma Teller Morrow. For this last role she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 2011. Other notable credits include Dr. Jones on Shameless and Louise Goldufski-Conner on The Conners (2018–present). Off-screen she is married to writer-producer Kurt Sutter whom she met while they were both working on Sons of Anarchy. They had been married since October 2, 2004, at their home in the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles. She was previously married to musician Freddie Beckmeier from 1978 to 1981 and to Jack White from 1993 to 2000.
