Born on December 8th, 1982 in Saint James Trinidad and Tobago, she moved to the United States with her family at age 5. Nicki has had a long career in music since 2000 when she first appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 as the featured artist for "Big Daddy" by The Notorious B.I.G. In 2001 she signed a contract with Young Money Entertainment and later released her debut album entitled "The Pinkprint".
